Location

The village of Gorna Breznica is located in south-west Bulgaria, at the foot of the Malashevska mountain, 4 km to the west of the municipal administrative centre – the town of Kresna. It covers an area of 68.023 km2 at an altitude of 498 m above sea level.

The village is close to the first-class road E 79, part of the International transport corridor No.4, Germany – The Czech Republic – Slovakia – Hungary – Romania – Bulgaria – Greece which makes the connection with larger towns and other villages in Bulgaria and in Greece quick and comfortable.
